The setting is peaceful, with trees and gardens all around, and the hosts were kind and very polite. The rooms were super clean and quiet. We spent most of Saturday by the pool, which was clean and well maintained. It’s a five-minute drive into downtown Stratford. We’d definitely go back and recommend the place to others.

Colleen, one of the owners, treated me like family, and the picturesque grounds with their magnificent gazebo were a delight. I also made good use of the pool and enjoyed lounging there. My room at The Swan Motel on Downie Street was beautiful, with two queen beds, two sitting tables, free Wi-Fi, a TV that actually worked, a good-sized bathroom and two fabulous views. Staying here was one of my favorite souvenirs from my whole trip to Stratford. Thanks so much, Colleen. I can’t wait to see you next year.

The pool and the garden around it are really inviting, and everything was spotless and quiet. The staff were very friendly, and the beds had fresh linen and were comfortable. A little updating to the decor could make this a high-end motel.

We’ve been back for a few years in a row because the owners are lovely. The place is clean and neat, and it’s close enough to town. There’s a pool and good Wi-Fi, plus complimentary muffins, coffee and tea in the morning. We come back every year!

The owners were so helpful and pleasant, and the rooms were extremely clean. My husband and I stayed last night and were really impressed. It’s just a bit out of town, but not far, and the location worked well. We’ll definitely be back.
