Heather makes you feel like family as soon as she welcomes you into this beautiful historic home. The Regency room was great, and the vintage claw tub is hard not to love. Breakfast, prepared by Heather, was truly the best. I highly recommend it.

Heather welcomed us warmly and made wonderful gourmet breakfasts during our two-night stay at the Chisholms for our 34th anniversary. We were in the bright, nicely decorated English Room upstairs, with a large King bed, feather duvet and pillows, and a spacious en-suite bathroom with both a claw-foot tub and walk-in shower. The beautiful buff brick mansion sits at the corner of Ontario and Front, conveniently between the Festival Theater and downtown. The house has been well updated and cared for. We enjoyed the visit very much and highly recommend the Chisholms and Heather.

We saw three performances during our two nights at The Chisholms, and both theatres were within a 10-minute walk. We’re a senior couple, and the English Room was a lovely place to stay. The inn is as advertised, a boutique property in an excellent location. Heather, the proprietor, was helpful and full of information, and made delicious breakfasts both mornings. We had a wonderful time.

We were treated to a guided walking tour by the owner after a feast of a breakfast: fresh-baked scones with homemade jam, goat cheese and roasted pepper frittata, scalloped potatoes, and local cider. The host was gracious and helpful, and the gardens are beautiful. This 1881 home is full of art and antiques, with a perfect bed and good-quality linens. It’s an easy walk to the theatre and downtown. We’ll definitely return, and recommend this lovely classic home and host to anyone who appreciates the finer things.

I loved spending quiet time reading and relaxing on the beautiful porch in this lovely neighbourhood. The BnB is comfortable and beautifully decorated, and Heather is a caring, wonderful host. She makes gourmet breakfasts that are delicious. It’s also a great location if you’re visiting the Stratford Festival. I really recommend staying here.
