For the price and a two-star motel, this was better than we expected. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff lovely. Breakfast was awesome too. We’ll stay again.

The location was really handy for what I needed, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. My room was very clean, and breakfast was a tasty bonus to start the day. I had a comfortable, hassle-free stay at the Westlake Inn.

I enjoyed my early October 2025 stay. It was quiet, breakfast had a good selection, and there were amenities nearby. My one downside was a smoky smell in my non-smoking room. They should rip out the carpet to help reduce it.

At this small family-run hotel, I was able to speak with someone directly to book, and they matched the online price. My group arrived while I was 20 minutes behind, but they let everyone into their rooms and billed my credit card instead of leaving them waiting in the lobby. Breakfast was great and there was plenty of it. The people were kind and helpful throughout the day. I’d go back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in southern Alberta.

After eight days driving from Nova Scotia, this was easily the best motel I stayed in. The room was clean and quiet, the hot water was properly hot, and breakfast was included and great. The location was good, with nice areas for walking the dog. RCMP headquarters is next door, too. What more could you want? Five stars.
