Bear Country management was easy to reach and prompt with any requests, and the unit was clean, well maintained and very comfortable for our group of eight. We stayed in echo landing #2. It’s a 15 minute walk to the village, or there’s a shuttle that comes roughly every thirty minutes. I’d have given the location five stars if it were a bit closer to the village. For skiing, it’s just a 20 metre walk to put on your skis, then you can ski right to the door in the afternoon. Otherwise, the place was perfect.

We had four adults and three children in this cozy, comfortable three-bedroom unit, which sleeps nine. It’s close to the ski lift and has a fabulous view. The hot tub had lots of adjustable jets. The central village is about half a mile away, maybe, and there’s a shuttle stop out front. Management responded quickly to all our concerns.

We stayed in unit #15 for a week in March. It’s new and spacious, but the amenities, cleanliness and property manager’s responsiveness were very, very poor for the price. There was cat and dog hair all over the unit when we arrived, and the kitchen seemed stocked for just one evening. The furniture was poor quality, too. We raised these issues with the property manager, but he did nothing. Don’t stay in this unit.

The distance from everything upset me. There was no delivery or Uber, and the shuttle didn’t run very often.

A nice, quiet place. There are a few condos you can rent for a weekend, look on Airbnb.
