The views were great, and the accommodations were a good deal. In our unit there was heat but no AC, so if you're visiting in summer, bring a portable fan. The heat wave made our first night really hot, though the rest of the stay was fine.

Our studio suited the two of us perfectly, and we could walk to the village. Being able to ski in and out was a real treat. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the clean hot tub was in good shape. With temperatures below zero, the boot warmer was a lifesaver. We had a problem with the storage locker, and topofthemountain responded quickly.
We had space to park three cars and sleep ten people, and the townhome was roomy and well furnished. The village was an easy walk away, though the kitchen was stocked well enough to make staying in easy. We booked last summer and expected a great place, since we'd stayed somewhere similar the year before.
Snow Creek Village is a great base for a year-round Sun Peaks visit. It's close enough to the village to feel central, yet the complex is remarkably quiet. Strata has kept it in good shape. Many units back onto green space and a quieter section of the valley trail. In winter that felt especially nice, while still not feeling so remote that we worried about cougars. Our kids could head out with sleds and slide down the gentle slope about 500 metres to the trail. In summer, you can bike to the lifts or use the Valley Trail on road bikes, which is a safe place for children to ride. A minute away are the playground, soccer field, picnic tables, outdoor pool, and gym. The hockey rink without ice becomes a big open space for scooters, basketball, and other activities. In winter, many units let you put on skis or a board at the back patio and slide to the main lifts and village, then return to your private hot tub when your legs are done. Unless you have one of the million dollar estates north of the complex, I challenge you to find better ski-in/ski-out access in Sun Peaks. The rink is a 30-second walk, the plaza with playground, fire pits, soccer field, and gym is a minute away, and the village is two minutes away. Convenience and liquor stores are three minutes on foot, while the clinic and lift base take about five to seven minutes. It's a really neat place to spend time.
The big patio made it feel like we were up in the treetops, and the location puts you close to the village, mountain, pool, and playground. #46 is modern but still has plenty of charm, with thoughtful details that made us comfortable. The bed was comfortable too, and it felt like good value. We stayed two nights and can't wait to return. Five out of five for #46 snow creek village!
