Shelly made us feel right at home and cooked a hearty breakfast. The king bed was very comfortable, and both the room and bathroom were beautifully finished and spotless. The inn looks much nicer inside than it does from the outside. My one reason for taking off a star was that our room had only one chair. Maybe the queen room has a little more space.

The breakfast Shelby made just for us was incredible, better than at any hotel we've stayed in. She and John clearly enjoy what they do, and John was so friendly. They left treats on the bed, drinks in the little fridge, and even personal items in case we'd forgotten anything. Our balcony room was spotless, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The outside of the property put us off when we first arrived, but inside it felt like home. The owner should tidy up the exterior to match the amazing accommodation inside. Thanks, Shelby and John. We’ll be back. Cyndi and Thomas.

A spontaneous booking at Dolans turned out lovely. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything in Tatamagouche was an easy walk away. Our host Shannon made an amazing breakfast, and she was so genuine and kind that she made us feel like old friends. Hope we can stay again soon.

The hosts were so friendly and left drinks in the mini fridge and treats on the bed. My room was nicely furnished and decorated, with a private bathroom, mini fridge, big TV, and a whole balcony to myself. The bed was super comfortable. Five stars!

After a long day on the motorcycle, it was great to have such clean, comfortable rooms. Shelby and John were great hosts, and breakfast the next morning was to die for. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.
