The wait was nearly two hours: I ordered nachos at 7:10 and they arrived at 8:45, burnt and without meat. The menu didn't say they came without meat, and after that long I expected at least some chicken. My server was rude, never greeted our table, and didn't check on us once. She only seemed happy when we were leaving. The servers were drinking and on their phones a lot. The music was VERY loud, though that could just be me. My friend said her muscles were good, but I hope she doesn't end up with food poisoning. I tipped because I felt bad and don't like not tipping, but they didn't deserve it. We ate at the restaurant, and thank god I didn't stay in the rooms.

The restaurant was closed while we were there, but we enjoyed Tide Head beach and would come back. We wanted to stay at sandford this trip because my uncle Cletus Henry owned the place many many moons ago. It took me back in time. The original cabins that are still there are so cozy and clean, and I hope they stay.

I won't be going back. On my first visit, they rushed us out after we ate. The second time, we sat there for over an hour before anyone took our order. A group arrived after we'd already waited an hour, and the waitress ignored us to serve them first. Then they got my food wrong, and when they went to make another plate, they'd run out of the cheeseburger I'd ordered. The service was terrible both times.

I had a good experience overall. The cabin was cozy and had all the essentials for cooking, though it wasn't in perfect shape, with some holes and marks on the wall.

We had a group of 12, and the whole meal came out hot, beautifully plated, and timed just right. We tried nearly everything on the menu, and it was all delicious. Our favorites were the Brie with Maple Syrup, poutine, Fish of the Moment, mussels, and chicken brochettes. The beer selection impressed the beer aficionados in our group, and filling out the Flight Request made for a unique flight, better than the usual way beer flights are served. It's been a long time since everything at a restaurant felt perfect: food, service, and atmosphere. We were also glad the staff checked both our IDs and Vaccine Status. We'd been to a few places that checked Vaccine Status without checking ID. Thanks, we'll definitely be back. It'll be our group's choice, and somewhere we'll visit individually too.
