Middle Beach Lodge

Waking up to the ocean and forest outside our windows was such a treat. The three of us spent three nights in the main-floor Triplex Cabin at Middle Beach Lodge, and it felt like home with a really pampered, luxurious touch. We’d sit with coffee, talk, and watch the ocean. The staff were attentive and friendly, breakfast had lots of choices, and the whole stay was quiet and restorative. Watching the waves and breathing the forest air made it hard to leave. Easily the highlight of our BC trip with friends. We can’t wait to come back.

We spent hours looking out over the headlands at the wind and waves, fireplace going in the living area. My partner and I came to Tofino in late January for storm season and a cozy break from the city, and Middle Beach Lodge was new to us. The staff kept checking that we were comfortable, and the grounds are lovely, with trails that make it easy to reach nearby beaches and explore the area. We had a wonderful stay and plan to return next year.

The room was beautiful and classy, and the trails and beaches were spectacular. My husband and I stayed two nights in the treehouse, surrounded by both forest and ocean, which was even more than we expected. It was such a peaceful reset. We’d get cozy by the fireplace with coffee or hot cocoa and just take in the ocean through the windows. It had that coming-home feeling, only with a luxurious, pampered edge. We left refreshed, and somehow two nights felt like five. Best getaway we’ve ever had.

A great place for adults, with friendly staff and a cozy, rustic feel. Our room was warm, comfortable, and roomy. On a rainy day the lounge was especially nice, with a huge fireplace, chess, magazines, a bar, and good food. Very welcoming.
