We had our own room at Tofino Trek Inn, with a shared bathroom and common areas, including the kitchen, and that arrangement suited us just fine. It’s a lovely old house and clearly well cared for. Joe was a terrific host, friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed talking with him and guests from around the world over breakfast. There was yummy bread, peanut butter, jam, bananas, apples and coffee or tea. Joe’s suggestions fit our interests and the time we had, and every one was right on the money. If meeting other people is one of the best parts of traveling for you, I’d recommend the place. You won’t regret staying here.

Joe was a helpful host and had lots of useful information. The double room was spacious and comfortable, and it was nice that breakfast was included. The inn is right on Main St in downtown Tofino, close to everything. We’d highly recommend staying here.

The bed felt a bit stiff, though everyone has their own preference. Joe was warm and knew the area well, with plenty of good suggestions for us. The house was spotless, not even a crumb on the floor, and the shower pressure was great.

The place feels homey, and it was very clean and comfortable. Joe was welcoming and accommodating, even managing to book an extra night for us at short notice. He’s also warm and helpful, with great local knowledge that he’s happy to share. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Joe was really helpful, from estimating how long hikes and walks would take to writing down store closing times. When our group decided at the last minute to take a boat tour, he called around to see if anyone had an opening. The one downside is that you can only lock your room from the outside, not while you’re inside. I’d still definitely stay here again.
