Montecassino Hotel and Event Venue

The room was about 50 sqm and laid out more like a one-bedroom apartment. The bed springs squeaked, and the internet was very patchy, but it was fine for one night. This doesn't feel like a traditional hotel to me. The entrance isn't welcoming, and coming through the tunnel feels more like walking into an office building. I only stayed one night.

The large parking lot made things convenient, and the place was clean and organized. I enjoyed my time at Montecassino Hotel and Event, which had a comfortable atmosphere and solid service. The event hall's Italian-style food was tasty and nicely presented. It was a good venue, and I'd consider returning for another event.

I was told at checkout that towels and other items were missing, and they refused to return my $200 security deposit. I had only my purse with me, no baggage or luggage, since staying over was a last-minute decision. They claimed I had the missing items. I was very disappointed and felt this was a scam to keep my money. I checked in at 11 pm because I was too tired to drive home, paid $326 in total, and went straight to bed. I checked out at 9:30 am. They told me to call the police, which I did, but no one showed up. In the end, I got back $120 instead of my $200 deposit for a hotel crime I had nothing to do with. This is a scam!

I had a good time at the Christmas party, and the music was good. The food was so-so, though the chicken and vegetables in my entree were cold and dry. I didn't stay at the hotel itself.
