The garden view was so beautiful, and the place is spacious, clean, friendly, and well located. Andy, thank you so much for having us! You have lots of recommendations for things to do nearby. I'd recommend staying here to anyone. Thanks again, and don't hesitate to book! ✨

It's inexpensive and really clean. There are private rooms, but we stayed in the shared hostel, and Andy was great. Lots of amenities, plus a LOT of international backpackers and travellers. The listing says no guests, but when I mentioned we were visiting our kid, Andy said she was welcome back. Bring your own things and a lock if you want. We packed light and left everything in the car. I always travel with scarves, so I tied them up to give my bed a bit more privacy.

Good, cheap place to stay. The rooms are large and clean, and so are the bathroom and shower, though the beds are noisy when you move. The kitchen is very well equipped. The owner is super nice, and you can tell the place was made with love. There's a beautiful garden by the water. It's a bit of a walk to town and the bus stop.

The staff were kind, knowledgeable, attentive, and quick to help. They even saved me from a booking mistake. I'll be back, 10/10. The hostel itself has a relaxed feel in a lovely, sunny building. Every room has a gorgeous view, and the kitchen is spacious for a guest house this size. Deer were running around outside, and there's a nice path out back. It's also near some cool DH bike trails and a good surf spot where you can get out of the rain.

For a budget stay around the Tuff and Ukee area, this is the cheapest option I found, with a nice ocean view. Andy is nice, and if you're watching your budget, you don't need to stay in Tofino. The kitchen has everything you need, and the hostel is close to Coop. If you're coming to Ukee from Nanaimo or Victoria, try to buy groceries there first, since prices in Ukee are high and there's only one grocery store, Coop. The private-room guests had keys to their own washrooms, which felt a bit odd. Hostelling is about community as well as cheap accommodation, and those guests didn't seem to act like they were staying in a hostel. The beds need replacing: mine was very uncomfortable, and when the person above me moved, the bottom bunk moved too. The sheets could be cleaner as well. I stayed in two shared rooms, and the sheets in my second room weren't the cleanest, even though I know they're washed after checkout.
