We especially enjoyed the lighthouse trail and exploring the lively community of Ucluelet. Tofino is nearby, with plenty of adventures, and we ate well at Heartwood, Tacofino, Wickanish Inn and basic goodness pizza! The inn keeper came over to welcome us right away and shared useful tips. The property sits in a bay with a beautiful view of nature, and we liked the artwork, the outdoor seating area, and the space overall. We had dishes, a microwave, a kettle, and a fridge. We can’t wait to return to this area. Thanks 😊

The sauna was amazing, and we loved being right by the inlet. Ucluelet’s restaurants, shops, and trails were all within walking distance. The hosts were welcoming, and the rooms were clean and thoughtfully equipped. We had a lovely stay in the beautiful rooms and quiet location.

A friend and I were gifted a couple of nights at this guesthouse and really enjoyed it. The property is well kept, and the location is peaceful but still close to downtown. Our room was cared for, clean, and had a personal West Coast touch. It felt serene, with chances to see all kinds of wildlife. Five stars from us 😎. I’ve attached zoomed-in photos of the two bears that also enjoyed staying in the woods straight ahead of the property.

We had no safe way to get to the property after a last-minute road closure blocked all the alternate side roads. We ended up driving 19 km off-road and found a closed gate at the end. With darkness approaching and unfamiliar roads ahead, we had serious safety concerns and had to turn back. I promptly explained to the host that the situation was completely outside my control. I was extremely disappointed by the lack of understanding and support. The response felt cold and dismissive: no refund would be issued, and I was told to contact my travel insurance. I understand why cancellation policies exist, but a little empathy and flexibility when a guest physically can’t reach the property would have made a big difference. The host describes the policy as “flexible,” yet based on my experience, genuine emergencies and safety concerns received no consideration. I can’t recommend staying here.
