The photos made units #210 and #211 look new, clean, and nice, but they were nothing like that. We rented a condo for a sweet 16 birthday celebration, and the unit was filthy. The jetted tub was dirty, and the bathwater came out brown with black sediment. There was construction noise, no beach access, and no support when I raised concerns. The manager, 'Brock', was rude and unsympathetic. He acted as if I’d made the mess myself, even though we cleaned and sanitized everything. He offered a discount on a future stay, which we’ll never use. We could have stayed somewhere gorgeous right on the beach for less. Maybe other companies have nicer units, but these two are managed by the same company and advertised on Expedia. Don’t make the mistake we did, and don’t stay here.

Suite 207 was fantastic, with lots of space, a cozy feel, and great privacy. It was very clean, and the windows all around gave us views of the Harbour. Restaurants, a grocery store, shops, and the aquarium were all close by. We loved our stay and will be back for suite #207.

We had a wonderful visit in Suite 702. It was cozy, well equipped, and had outstanding views over the harbour. We’d recommend it to our friends. Archipelago Wildlife Cruise was AWESOME and worth every penny. Alan andToddy were perfect hosts, and their running commentary made the trip even better. We saw lots of wildlife.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the location is right in the heart of Ucluelet, looking over the pier and inlet. We stayed in a spacious, well appointed two-bedroom suite with a kitchen for a week, which made being in town easy and pleasant. The hotel is comfortable, and both the rooms and harbor views are excellent.

The building is gorgeous and the staff were lovely, but the management was inadequate, and we won’t return. We were clear about which room we wanted when booking, yet were given the room below it. On our first night there was no hot water, and a fishing boat stayed at the dock all night with bright lights shining into our room and its generator running. We barely slept. Unless you’re in a top-floor suite, you’ll hear everything from above. Rooms on either side face a parking lot or the aquarium building. In summer, the metal-roofed building is apparently stifling hot, with windows all around that don’t open and no air conditioning. The only worthwhile room is 301, and only in cooler weather.
