I'm a fritter gal, and I've tried them all over this beautiful country. Voyager lodge's was easily the best. Green lake station in Whistler had been my number one, but that one had a quick microwave first. These needed no time in the wave. We bought two and wished we'd ordered three. Buy three and you'll probably want four, we got caught in the cycle ourselves. This tiny bit of heaven is tucked way out in the middle of nowhere. If it's off your usual route, detour, divert, whatever it takes to make it part of the journey, right alongside good music and stunning views.

We really liked the whitefish, with its crisp, panko-style coating. Dinner for two came to $61.00, tax included, I believe. Since it's takeout only, it's good that there are plenty of picnic tables and a covered spot outside to eat. I'd suggest offering a baked potato as another option besides French fries.

That infamous, world-renowned Apple Fritter was D Double D-licious, an international delight! It could rival a famous Parisian dessert. No photo, I inhaled it.

We were really disappointed this time. We'd stayed here several times before and loved it, but our rooms weren't clean at all, there was no hot water at the sink, and the food we ordered was awful. It's sad to see this once-great place decline.

A great little spot for breakfast or lunch, right across from the bay. Their Apple fritters are amazing, and definitely big enough to share.
