The forest setting made everything feel calm and restful, and there are waterfalls and lovely spots to explore nearby. We had a beautiful wooden cabin with a great view, plus lots to do around the property, from trails and games to basketball. The lake was great for paddling and boating, and there was a nice outdoor fireplace area by the restaurant. We’d happily come back!

We stayed in mid-March and loved how cozy and warm the Pine Perch cabin was, especially with that view over the valley and trees. The hot tub, saunas, and cold plunge are beautiful and clearly well cared for. Everyone we met among the staff and owners was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Can't wait to return!

Shannon was so friendly and had helpful suggestions, and the island itself is really nice. We spent a weekend in The Lookout cabin, which was clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub and sauna were great for unwinding. We’ll be back in summer for sure.

The three nights at Rocky Valley left me feeling rested in both body and mind. Shannon and Brian have made a quiet, private sanctuary on beautiful Texada Island, and they greeted me and another arriving couple so warmly. Brian showed us around, too. I stayed in the Shady Pines cabin, which was clean, modern, nicely decorated, and well equipped, with a huge deck to sit out on. There’s plenty to explore on the island, especially for nature lovers. Shannon’s little shop has some of her pottery and other locally made things. The falls, beaches, and Turtle pond trail are worth checking out. Already thinking about coming back.

The saunas, cold plunge pools, and hot tub are tucked into the woods and leave you feeling both energized and relaxed. Brian and Shannon have made a really peaceful retreat among the mossy trees at Rocky Valley, just 10 minutes from Blubber Bay ferry landing. Brian built all the buildings, and Pine Perch, a treehouse for the young at heart, is our favorite. My wife and I are definitely going back soon. Clients can call later to get 15% off another stay.
