Vancouver West Cozy Retreat by Host Launch

We appreciated how easy the self check-in was, and the host was respectful and accommodating. Their presence was unobtrusive, which made for a private, relaxed stay. At 1106 W 49th Avenue in Vancouver's Oakridge neighborhood, Vancouver West Cozy Retreat offers a quiet setting with convenient access around the city. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, with smart TVs, high-speed Wi-Fi, and private bathrooms. Some have private entrances. The bright living room and dining area feel homey, and there’s also a hot tub, free street parking, and complimentary coffee and tea. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the SkyTrain station for downtown trips. Bus routes and several nearby places to eat, from fast food to local spots, are convenient. Queen Elizabeth Park and the Vancouver Olympic Centre are also close.

I stayed here a few years ago for my birthday, and it was just right. The room and bathroom were clean, I felt safe, and checking in was easy. The street was quiet but close to lots of cool places. The house rules around noise and such made sense, and we had no problems. I’d recommend it!

We loved our stay last month. The home is beautiful and sits in a really peaceful area, yet it was easy to reach from the airport. Our room was immaculate and had what we needed, and the self check-in instructions were very clear. There isn't much in the immediate area, which is what you'd expect in such a quiet spot, but the metro is an easy 10-15 minute walk and makes getting into the city simple. Highly recommend!

The house is in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The owner has made two Airbnb suites in the basement, plus a larger suite in the front yard. Our unit was spacious, comfortable, convenient, very clean, and completely private, with its own separate entrance. We never even saw the host during our stay. There are fast food places within walking distance, and the owner left water for us. There was coffee in the cabinet too.
