Wedgewood Hotel & Spa

We booked the wedgewood suite and had a wonderful stay at the Wedgewood hotel & spa. There was a small problem with the jetted tub, but the staff fixed it right away. When we returned, they'd left a little surprise to make up for the inconvenience. The spa was wonderful too, and our massage left us feeling relaxed. We also loved the Bacchus restaurant, where the food was beyond delicious. The staff were so helpful and lovely. We'd definitely stay again. Thanks for everything.

Suite 1402 is on the top floor, with a terrace and amazing views across Vancouver. It's a beautiful two-room suite with a gas fireplace and a lovely, huge soaking tub. The Wedgewood is a beautiful hotel that feels classy and sophisticated, and it reflects the five C's of the Relais & Châteaux organization: courtesy, charm, character, calm, and cuisine. The whole team was great, especially Melvin Ky and the concierge team, who handled dining suggestions, reservations, transport, and every request with grace and style. This is a world-class hotel in every way. We'll stay again next time we're in Vancouver.

The hotel spa's couples massage was excellent and a lovely way to unwind over the holidays. We spent two nights at Wedgewood Hotel over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and it made an ideal base for our Vancouver visit. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, bringing the warm hospitality you'd hope for at Christmas. The valets were especially attentive with our car and luggage, making everything easy. Our spacious, comfortable room was beautifully furnished and designed, just right after full days out exploring. The downtown location meant we could walk everywhere we wanted. With thoughtful amenities, great service, and a prime location, it was exactly the right place for Christmas. Highly recommended for a boutique stay with genuine hospitality.

After my cruise, I had plenty of room to settle into the Wedgwood Hotel & Spa. The bed felt heavenly, the amenities were high quality, and the spacious bathroom stood out, with a full-size soaking tub, separate walk-in shower, and enclosed water closet. The whole bathroom was bigger than the cruise ship cabin I'd just left. Bacchus Restaurant deserves its own review, but having such a refined dining room just steps from the elevator adds to the appeal. The hotel is right in downtown Vancouver, making the city easy to explore, with a refined retreat to come back to. The Wedgwood balances classic European elegance with warm, modern hospitality. Details are taken care of, comfort is elevated, and the service feels gracious and human. It makes a true downtown haven, and I'd highly recommend it before or after a cruise. The Relais & Châteaux pedigree is apparent from the moment the car pulls up: uniformed bellmen in period attire are ready to help with practiced, sincere ease. That same polished, warm attention carries from the front desk through housekeeping. Even the warm afternoon cookies delivered to the room feel like a thoughtful touch rather than a gimmick.
