The staff were consistently helpful and accommodating, easy to work with throughout our stay. The location and space are strong points too. From the suite, there are charming views of Victoria’s Inner Harbour, especially early in the morning when the floating homes and marina reflections are still and beautiful. The layout works well for a group or family: two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a Murphy bed, and a full kitchen, with room for up to six people. The interior, though, gets in the way of having a restful space. The dark gray-blue paint makes the suite feel smaller and more enclosed. There’s also a large clock mural above the bed. It may look dramatic in photos, but having that giant clock face overhead kept my mind subtly on edge. Bedrooms should let you forget about time, not spotlight it. Style won over sleep quality here. Tick Tock, lose the clock. Good fundamentals, especially the location, space, and service, but those design choices detract from what could be a calming, charming place.

Being so close to Fisherman's Wharf is a joy, and we love taking the scenic coastal path into downtown. A walk around the quaint James Bay neighbourhood is relaxing, with several good restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. We’ve stayed at many WorldMark destinations, but Victoria will always be our favourite, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Over the years we’ve stayed at WorldMark Victoria many times and absolutely love it. At check-in the front desk staff always greet us with a smile. They’re kind, caring, courteous, and responsive to requests. Everyone at the resort is friendly and polite, and the gardening staff did a fantastic job this past summer. The grounds looked great.

The two-bedroom was cute and just the right size. I liked having all the kitchen amenities we needed. The hot tub had been out of order for quite a while, as we’d been notified by email, which was disappointing. More channel options on the TV would have been nice.

The location was nice, but the rooms were smaller than usual. There were eight of us in Victoria, and we’d booked two rooms and asked for them to be next to each other. They ended up on the same floor but at opposite ends. When we asked, we were told that the type of rooms we’d booked couldn’t be beside each other. How does that work? The bathroom sink had no way to stop the water from running out. Some wall controls weren’t labeled. We figured out that one operated the automatic curtains and another controlled the light and ceiling fan. There was a thermostat too, but we never did figure out what the last control was for.
