A View of the Lake Bed & Breakfast

The three-course breakfast was a highlight, and eating it on the terrace with that lake view made it even better. We spent two nights with Chrissy and Steve at “A view at a lake” in the Grand View Hotel room. Everything from the location and cleanliness to communication, friendliness, and service was impeccable, so we highly recommend this B&B. If we're back in Kelowna, we'd book it again. When our other B&B booking fell through at the last minute, we called Steve and he came to the rescue. We're so glad we found him and his lovely house. The room had an incredible view, we slept wonderfully, and the three-course breakfast was the best imaginable. Thanks, Steve. We'd happily stay again.

Breakfast was the standout: a thoughtfully put-together three courses served outside, with fresh juice and great tea and coffee. The hilltop setting looks out over the town and lake, and it's handy for visiting wineries around West Kelowna. The rooms are lovely, the place is spotless, and the shared lounge, bar, and veranda feel peaceful and relaxing. Steve and Chrissy are warm, welcoming hosts who know plenty about the local area. We can highly recommend it and will be back.

We loved how easy Steve and Chrissy made it to relax and get to know the other guests, whether over breakfast or on the patio overlooking Okanagan Lake. They don't take themselves or the experience too seriously, but the service is excellent. Their advice helped us find wineries, breweries, restaurants, and outdoor activities around the region. The rooms are lovely, the view is amazing, and the care feels like staying at a boutique hotel. Steve is a terrific chef, and the breakfasts were out of this world. Crepes Suzette was one of the week's highlights. This is a first-rate B&B, and we won't forget the stay. We'll be back.
