The rooms are cozy, and there’s a bathroom and shower for every four people. During the week I stayed, the other guests were friendly and down to earth. The communal kitchen helps keep costs down, and the hot tub and sauna room were useful after long days on the slopes. It’s a great-value lodge if you want to spend less than hotels and air B&Bs in Whistler. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the village is just a short bus ride away. Highly recommend it.

It was the off season, so the hostel was really quiet. The place was beautiful and sparkling clean, and the hot tub and steam room felt like having a little spa to ourselves. I’ll definitely come back and stay here during ski season ❤️

There’s a small shared kitchen, and a simple breakfast is served every morning. My friends and I had a room with two large bunk beds and our own shower and toilet. The huge main area makes it easy to meet the other people staying at the lodge. Jeff, the owner, is friendly and has some good stories and life advice to share. It’s a great alternative to the more expensive places in Whistler. Highly recommend it!

The lodge and dorms feel cozy, with high ceilings and lovely natural light. There are plenty of cool pictures and artwork around the place. Berkley, the friendly Mastiff, and Louie, the friendly Cat, help you feel protected and loved. The staff are hospitable, too. The Alpine Lodge is a great Whistler getaway, and I highly recommend it.

The price felt well worth it, and we could use the Whirlpool without paying extra. Service was excellent, and the staff were kind and friendly. There’s a nice Corner-Shop and a Coffee right next to the hostel, and bus stops are only about two minutes away. A very nice hostel.
