We found the staff really friendly, and housekeeping did an excellent job. The hot tub was relaxing, and using the sauna kept us calm and energized during our stay. Our balcony room at Whistler Village Inn was $250 a night, with a nice kitchen attached. It was warm and pretty inside, which was welcome in the late November cold, and the fireplace made it especially cozy. Tea and coffee supplies were there too, and the washroom was neat. We had a lovely weekend.
The hotel is right in the center of the village, so we could get to everything easily. Our room had a useful kitchenette and fireplace. The decor and rooms feel a bit dated, but they're functional and have what you need. Service and cleanliness were top tier. The staff and housekeeping were always lovely and helpful, and Brandon at the front desk was especially knowledgeable. Really exceptional service! 🙌🏽🙏🏽
The location was great, with many nearby restaurants staying open late. We had an okay stay, though cleanliness could use work. There was a strand of hair on the sheet, and the bathroom could have been cleaner; mold was starting to form where the shower walls need new caulking. On a lower floor, footsteps from above were audible. The friendly front desk let us check in half an hour early. We booked a studio with a king bed and were surprised by how spacious it was. I nearly forgot it also had a Murphy bed, which we had to pull down ourselves, though the sheets were already on it. The room and kitchen appliances looked dated, but everything worked.
The spacious rooms had full kitchens and enough room for our whole family to relax. The hotel is centrally located, with shops and restaurants nearby, and the ski lifts just a very short walk away. That was especially handy with kids and all their gear. We had a wonderful stay.
The room was quiet, the bed super comfortable, and the heat worked well. The staff were kind, and being in Whistler Village made getting around easy. The hotel had the amenities we wanted, including a gym and pool. Parking was costly at about $35 for the night, but I had a very relaxing stay.
