We stayed from 2023.12.31 to 2024.1.2, and the experience was a constant headache. There’s no front desk at the hotel, so after arriving we had to drive 4 kilometers away to check in. We couldn’t find any staff there or get help. Two adults and two kids were given just one quilt, and nobody addressed it. The living room fireplace couldn’t be fully put out, so picture trying to sleep next to five candles. On the first floor, we could hear people running and jumping upstairs at 9:30 in the evening. Customer service told me there was nothing they could do. For all sorts of reasons, I caught a cold two days later and had two nights of insomnia. The cleaning charge was another shock. I’d already paid 150 Canadian dollars at check-in, but two days after checking out the hotel charged another 125 Canadian dollars for cleaning because I hadn’t taken out the trash. Charging a phone’s worth of money just to clean a room is crazy. They might as well have grabbed it! This is the most shameless hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Everyone should be careful with this place!
We got to check in early, which was nice, and the two-bedroom condo was huge and comfortable, with a fully stocked kitchen. Having a laundry machine in the room was a great bonus. The hot tub was really big and nice, though it was cold getting in. Parking was tight.
It's in a good spot, not far from the cable car, but I won't choose it again. There was no front desk and we couldn't find any waiters. The staff were rude and wouldn't give us the help we needed. Our suite had only one quilt, the upstairs noise was considerable, and the facilities were very basic.
Stayed in room 113. The room was clean and functional, though not especially new, but the bed was AWFUL. It was counter height and unstable, like a wobbly mushroom, and sleeping on it was very uncomfortable. The pillows were huge too. It was noisy beside the road.
[EDIT: We've stayed with a different host in the same complex. This review is for that specific unit. It's still an amazing place to stay in the Creekside area!] We’ve stayed here twice and don’t regret it, even though a few things in our unit didn’t meet expectations. It needs some maintenance, and like other reviews have said, there’s no A/C. We were lucky the weather wasn’t hot when we came. Our unit was right by the pool, so it could get a little loud during the day, though that’s to be expected.
