We had a one-bedroom with a king bed, a queen sofa bed, and enough space for a twin rollaway. It worked well for our family of four, including two teenagers. The full kitchen was especially handy, with a full-size fridge, oven, stove, and dishwasher. There are two grocery stores nearby. They cleaned daily and replaced dirty towels, though they didn't do the floors, just something to know. It's about a five-minute walk to the Gateway Loop and Information Center, and very convenient if you're arriving by bus from Vancouver. Restaurants and the Olympic skating ring are a short walk away too. Getting to the slope base takes longer, probably 15 minutes, since the snowy, possibly slippery roads mean you can't rush. The hotel shuttle is small and slow, and fills up quickly, so walking was easier even with kids. There are two routes, one of which avoids crossing a street.

They upgraded us to a top-floor suite with mountain views, and it was clean apart from one knife. Luckily, the smaller knife was enough, so we didn't need to use it. The hotel's pool was closed for maintenance, but we could use the pool at either neighboring hotel. I really enjoyed my one-night stay. The front-desk team were welcoming and great. At one point, a staff member spotted me waiting in the storage area for less than a minute and ran over to retrieve my stored bag. A polite, friendly housekeeping gentleman brought slippers right away when I asked. I'd gladly return if we can get a mountain-view suite again.

The pool area was a highlight, especially the two hot tubs after a long day out in Whistler. My room was spacious and comfortable, and the welcoming atmosphere made for a very good stay. The heating system and mini fridge were noisy now and then, though it didn't detract too much. I'd happily come back to Delta Hotels Whistler Village Suites.

Our one-bedroom suite was a great place to rest before the next day, and housekeeping did a great job. I asked for slippers, which were a lifesaver after walking all day. The hotel sits in the middle of Whistler Village, making it easy to get to the other villages and to shops, markets, attractions, stores, and trails.

The bathroom was very clean, and the rooms were comfortable with a big bed. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathtub faucet had broken and popped out of the wall during our stay, but the staff were helpful and fixed it while we were out.
