Pangea Pod Hotel

The village location is close to lifts and restaurants, and staying here is a more affordable option. They put on weekly events like pub crawls and trivia, so it’s easy to have fun and meet ski buddies for Whistler.

The pods are roomy, and even with lots of people in each suite, it was quieter than I expected. Check-in was very quick and self-service, though I wish picking up a parking pass could be automated too. The staff were welcoming and nice. Bring flip flops, or you can buy some at the front. Cleanliness is why I’m giving four stars. I know a pod hotel’s condition can depend on who’s staying there, but there was gum on the underside of the shower bench and a poop stain in the toilet that seemed to remain for my whole stay.

The location is right in the centre of the village, just a 2-3 minute walk from either the Blackcomb or Whistler gondolas. There’s also storage for snow gear downstairs. My Pod Room had lots of space for clothes and equipment, and the staff were friendly, kept the rooms clean every day, and were happy to help. Incredible stay.

Pangea Pod is a great budget stay in Whistler. It’s a hostel and hotel kind of setup, clean and quiet, with really helpful, friendly staff. You can also meet new people here. If you don’t need luxury accommodation, I’d highly recommend it.
