Westwind Properties at Arrowhead Point

This review is only about arrowhead 19. We asked for some rent back after the problems during our 14-day stay and were told to contact VRBO. I assume the manager felt it was their fault, though I'm not sure how that works. We had plenty of other issues too, and I hope nothing goes wrong if you rent here. The internet kept cutting out for long stretches throughout our stay. We reported it on day 2. On day 4, the manager said she'd spoken with Telus and that we'd overloaded the download by using all three TVs and six other devices at once. There were only two of us, and we hadn't caused it, but we were blamed. It was never fixed during the 14 days. The washing machine also took more than three hours to run a load. We reported that on day 2, and it wasn't fixed either. The hot tub pump ran noisily several times each night, right beside the master bedroom. The cleanliness and upkeep were poor. Every plate, pot, pan, piece of cutlery and utensil we used was dirty when we arrived, and the placemats had food on them. There was no dishcloth and only one tea towel for two weeks. We reported this on day 2; the cleaner came on day 4, after we'd already cleaned what we needed. At a mid-stay clean three days later, the cleaner forgot to change the sheets on both beds. They returned 27 hours after we reported it, while we were making dinner. When we said the timing was inconvenient, the manager replied, “The cleaners did not realize that they had a time frame,” rather than apologizing. Six interior bulbs and two exterior ones were out. The spa had a ring of scum when we arrived. The manager said it was serviced, and I had to send a photo to show what I meant. As for the property itself, it's okay. We've stayed in many Benchlands rentals over the past 20 years, and although this one is photographed to look better, it's no better than others there. The boot room is better than most, but that's about it. The manager made our two-week stay less enjoyable by blaming us for problems and challenging every comment we made.
