I found the staff at Reception, Restaurant, and Housekeeping courteous and quick to respond, and the property is well managed. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained across the two different kinds I tried on separate stays. A few face a small lawn and pool. There's a bar and restaurant with various drinks and continental food, and the best Pizzeria in Lubumbashi. Food prices are reasonable, though drinks cost a bit more. Room furnishings varied between rooms, and I couldn't find a 3-pin plug socket. Breakfast could use more variety. There are no malls or supermarkets nearby, but you can order from other restaurants. I look forward to staying here again.

The clean, peaceful garden was the one thing I appreciated. Otherwise, Hotel Planet Holybum was overpriced for the poor service. The toilet had no flushing water, and the Wi-Fi didn't work at all. Staff generally seemed uninterested and unhelpful when issues came up. The meat I ordered at the restaurant was poorly cooked and flavorless, hardly worth the price. For what they charge, I expected better comfort, service, and food. Unless they make major improvements, I wouldn't recommend it. It's simply not worth the money.

I loved the Frog dish and Pizza pepperoni, and the presentation was lovely, with flavors that worked really well together. Hollybum had a cozy, inviting atmosphere, and the meal was delicious from start to finish. The staff were friendly and knew their stuff, making sure we had what we needed. I also noticed the care in the ingredients and plating. The service was top-notch, and I can't wait to come back. I'd highly recommend it to anyone after a memorable meal.

The covered outdoor area was nice, and both the service and food were good. I just went there for dinner and had lamb chops with French fries, plus a very good Tembo beer (5.9%).

Planet Hollybum's restaurant is very good, though the breakfast choices are limited. Breakfast is in a small room with just a few tables outside. The DRC is very expensive, and Planet Hollybum is no exception.
