Hotel Ledger Plaza Bangui

The pool was a little dirty, but the service was very nice. There was plenty of juice, and I liked the good food and wide variety. I could take as much as I wanted, and the live barbecue was great.

The internet was bad, and the food wasn't good either. When I asked to have breakfast in my room, they brought bread without butter or anything to go with it. I also asked for yogurt. The waitress said the chef was busy and she'd bring it later, but it never came. The waiters seem to hate their jobs. They don't smile or speak kindly. I wouldn't even call this a three-star hotel, and I don't recommend it.

The pool and dining options offer a nice break, with tasty local and international food. Some parts could use maintenance, but the clean, spacious rooms, attentive staff, and secure setting make it feel comfortable and give peace of mind despite the difficulties nearby. Ledger Hotel in Bangui is one of the best in Bangui, and a reliable choice for safety and comfort.

At the restaurant, food can take two hours to arrive, and the room price is outrageous for what you get. The hotel seems to have had no work done since it was built, and everything is crumbling. It has a pool, restaurant, and cafe, and seems to be where all the non-locals stay because there’s no other choice. It’s the only decently safe hotel in the city.
