Mikhael's Hotel

The staff were really polite, and the food and service were amazing. Fiacre especially deserves a mention for being so kind and helpful. Ask for him if you visit Mikhael's Hotel. I had a wonderful stay, and I'd encourage other travellers to go too. Cheers.

The breakfast had a very good range, and my room had a nice view of the pool. In the evening there was a projector showing the Champions League. It was my first time in Brazzaville, and local colleagues had booked the hotel for me. Food and services here generally cost more, so don't compare prices too closely.

We had a fantastic stay in Congo. From our room there was a beautiful view over Brazzaville, and the spacious rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The hotel sits right in the heart of the city. The breakfast was amazing, and the food was always tasty. Staff were friendly, helpful, and ready to assist. At night, the band by the pool gives the place a lively feel, and the pool area itself is nice and active. The art around the hotel is to die for, and the gym is well equipped. I highly recommend it.

The omelette was my favorite part of breakfast, though the buffet gets monotonous and really drags. Service was generally alright but could use improvement. I ordered a drink three times by the pool, then gave up and stood to leave. Only then, an hour after my first order, did they hurry out with the third one. I turned it down. The rooms are spacious, but they may not be cleaned until the afternoon. Coming back hours after stepping out to find your room still dirty is disappointing, isn't it? It was a good stay overall, but there are things to work on.
