The hotel is close to the city centre and right by the mountain, with lovely scenery and good walking routes. The rooms are large, with a sofa and refrigerator, though there’s no bathtub. Customer service was good, and the restaurant cooks well. Prices are a little high compared with similarly good hotels in other European countries, especially if you’re renting a room by yourself. Breakfast was okay, nothing special.

We stayed at hoefli studios near telldenkmal. The rooms were nice and had attached kitchens.

Such a lovely Christmas surprise! We enjoyed the hotel and the service. The attendant was super attentive and helpful. The village is beautiful, and we had a really nice stay. We’ll definitely come back!

We enjoyed the food at the restaurant, which has a lovely outdoor seating area. Just remember that smoking is allowed in restaurant outdoor areas in Switzerland when picking where to sit. The hotel is conveniently placed, a couple of minutes’ walk from the nearest Coop supermarket and a little farther from the town centre. Breakfast and internet were included during our several-night stay over June-July 2024 in a double comfort room. Our room was in a newer annex with a lift. It was a comfortable, good-sized, non-smoking room, and unusually for much of Europe, it had a mini fridge. There were outlets by the bed for charging phones. There was no cooling beyond a table fan, as is typical for the area, but the insulation was good and the room temperature stayed comfortable. Heating was okay. The bathroom was functional but small, with a rather tight shower. Hot water came quickly and stayed strong and consistent. The service was consistently friendly and helpful. Every staff member we met spoke at least some English, which made everything easy. The included breakfast was good. Wi-Fi measured 48.4 Mbps download and 54.0 Mbps upload, and the McAfee Security app rated it secure. Recommended.
