The Base

Michele, the concierge, was so helpful and kind, and his recommendations and hospitality made the stay even better. The Base Andermatt was right in front of the gondola, which made getting out to ski so easy. We loved the sauna after a day on the slopes, and there's underground parking and a ski room for equipment. The apartment was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed for a ski holiday. It felt modern but cozy from the moment we arrived. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, and the soft linen, plush towels, and supplied slippers made things especially comfortable. The mountain views were breathtaking, even from the bathroom, where we could look out at the Alps in the shower. There was also a bathtub, perfect for relaxing after skiing. Everything was well designed and exceeded our expectations. A fantastic place for the mountains, whether you're there to ski or simply enjoy the Swiss Alps. We can't wait to return!

The owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful, which added a lot to our stay. My friends and I came for a ski trip and were delighted with the place. It's right by the cable car and conveniently close to the train station. The accommodation was spotless, the bed incredibly comfortable, and I'd happily recommend it to anyone skiing in Andermatt.

A relaxed place to stay, especially if you like cooking and having dinner with family. It's easy to get to the supermarket. The owner, or perhaps the manager, was considerate and noticed what we needed, then offered help.
