Getting here by car is easy, and there's a bus stop 250 m away. From there, it's about an hour to Sierre, where you can connect to the train network. I only stayed one night and wish I'd had longer. The welcoming, charming staff made the place feel unforgettable, and the chalet-style decor fits the neighboring Swiss Alps.

We had a dog with us, and he was made very welcome. The staff also happily accommodated our request to have meals in the room so we could be safe from COVID, and the food was great. It's a charming chalet-style hotel with lovely views. Our room wasn't very large, but it was clean, nicely decorated, and had a comfortable bed. We'd gladly return.

I've been here a few times over the years and usually get fondue. This time I followed the waiter's suggestion and ordered the Croute au Fromage with ham and egg. It was fantastic! The little green salad as a starter was tiny and felt like it was just there to add to the bill. Still, the experience was great. Cheers.

Everything else felt authentically Swiss, but the separate beds and mattresses for couples are a real thorn in the side.

The view across the alpine valley is stunning, and the hotel room is nice. Still, it feels quite expensive for the quality of skiing available.
