The bed mattresses were really hard. Even adding a soft layer on top would make them much more comfortable. The stay was relatively expensive, and the typical Swiss mountain breakfast was a bit difficult for vegetarians, and even harder for vegans. On the plus side, the room was beautiful, with a large balcony and stunning mountain views. The people were warm and welcoming, with a family feel, and breakfast was nice and typical.

The food was delicious, the price decent, and the service friendly. The dessert was a letdown, though. Over 10 francs for such a thin fig tart didn't feel right.

A favorite hotel! The rooms are clean and spacious, and the food is delicious with lots of menu choices. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes a quiet family vacation.

I'm not Swiss, but the friends I was with were very disappointed by the quality of the rösti. They thought it might have come from a store bought package. “This is not the Swiss German way!”
