Residenza Giardino Ascona

Ecco restaurant did a fantastic job with our birthday celebration, and the breakfast was excellent. The whole property feels beautifully cared for, especially the manicured garden. I loved having the complimentary bikes to explore the area. There’s no direct access to the lake, which is the one small downside, but otherwise it was all outstanding.

We spent more than a week here with the whole family, and the staff made my wife’s 40’s birthday celebration feel perfectly arranged. Service was remarkable, the rooms and hotel were spotless, and the team was very attentive. We also really enjoyed the food, whether at the bar, the hide and seek restaurant, or the fine dining restaurant ecco. Thanks so much. We hope to come back. One question: the mattresses fixed my back. What model are they? I’d love to buy one for myself.

The spa was especially good, and the area is gorgeous to visit. The staff were amazing, and all the food was brilliant. This is probably one of our favorite hotels anywhere.

Our family finished nearly three weeks of travel around Europe here by the beautiful lake in Southern Switzerland, and we couldn’t have been happier. The pools, large kids club area, and easy access to Lake Maggiore made the stay special. They also have a great choice of bikes for riding to the lake, an activity we loved in such a beautiful setting. The boutique service was excellent, the restaurants were fantastic, and the breakfast buffet had loads of healthy options. Housekeeping were kind and attentive, setting up the second bed for us each morning and night. A wonderful stay!
