We came with a large group, and the hotel staff were great to work with, friendly, professional, and accommodating. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and a fridge.

The website says the hotel allows pets, so we booked a one-night stay while traveling with our dog. They cancelled the reservation because they said our dog was “too big,” and told us they only accept small pets. That restriction wasn’t specified anywhere on the website. Be warned if you’re booking with a pet: they don’t state a size limit, but may cancel if they decide your pet is too big.

They cancelled all our rooms, saying the hotel was closed, but rooms were still available to book for those same dates. We booked through booking.com and had no communication with the hotel that could have caused the cancellation.

Vista 33, the lakefront hotel, is a real gem. The lake-view rooms are wonderful, clean, and comfortable, and both the view and location are amazing. They also have parking about five minutes from the hotel. Highly recommend!

Being right on the main waterfront strip made this a fantastic spot. We loved staying here!
