Dialoghotel Eckstein

There's a nice 10k walk or run just a five-minute stroll east, through a wooded hillside with a river. The hotel is also about five minutes on foot from Baar station, with Zug one stop away and a direct train to Zürich. The rooms were clean, and the staff friendly. The building has a bit of a 90’s feel, and the location itself isn't especially inspiring.

The meeting rooms were ready to go with HDMI cords and were easy to use. Our large group also found the staff helpful and accommodating, and we really liked the generous breakfast and coffee choices. We had a very relaxing stay at Dialoghotel Eckstein.

The seminar rooms worked well for our group's different needs, and all four had audio and projection equipment that was simple to use. With close to 80 adults and children on a five-night church retreat, the family rooms with multiple beds and the hostel-style rooms were essential, especially for families with young kids. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and modern. There were plenty of spots around the attractive, contemporary hotel to sit and talk, including the Café and the outdoor courtyard with tables and chairs. The restaurant team served delicious Swiss-style meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and even prepared bag lunches for our full-day bus trip. Getting around was easy, with a bus stop right outside and grocery stores and restaurants across the street or a short walk away. Public transport to nearby Zug and Lake Zug was straightforward and gave us lovely recreational options. The staff welcomed us warmly, made us feel at home, and were always ready to help. Dialoghotel Eckstein was an outstanding, affordable fit for our group. We couldn't have been happier and highly recommend it.

I can't say enough good things about Dialoghotel Eckstein. The food, accommodations, service, and staff were all wonderful. It's been a long time since I've had such an extraordinary getaway. Thanks for an amazing experience!
