The rooms are great, which makes the rest all the more disappointing. The automatic check-in terminal meant waiting 20 minutes, and breakfast was terrible. This could be a great hotel, but it feels like they don't care.

I only visited the bakery, and it was great. The older woman with tattoos and short hair was super friendly. Because of my allergies, she explained all the ingredients in the pastries. Excellent service, and the best croissants in town.

There's a decent dining and breakfast area on the ground floor, and the interior is compact and neatly designed. Storage space is rather limited. A good business hotel in the heart of Baden, and a good experience overall.

The self-service setup made for a bad experience. I don't know the local language, so managing check-in was really hard, and if you need anything, you have to call a number. The room was very small and had almost nothing in it. I had to sort everything out myself, even water and a dental kit. Food choices were limited too: continental breakfast was just bread, cereal, and juice. I strongly wouldn't recommend this.

The staff were very friendly, the panorama bar had great views, and the location is good, next to a bus stop. Uber also works in Baden. But at 35°C, having no air-conditioning was a problem. The hotel also feels a bit old-fashioned. Compared with other Swiss standard hotels that are higher class and only two or three stars, I don't think this place deserves four stars.
