The room was nice enough and the location is great, but the noise from the bar and music went on until midnight and was really loud. Earplugs helped me, though the ones by the hallway coffee machine are easy to miss until morning. They might be better placed in the rooms. If you plan to drink until midnight, this place is perfect. If you want a good night’s sleep, it isn’t.

Our room was enormous by European hotel standards, almost like a studio apartment, which was a nice change. We also got a city travel card for free public transport. Reception is across the street at the sister hotel, where the staff were welcoming and available whenever we needed something. They even lent us outlet adapters, so we didn’t have to find and buy our own. Highly recommend!

The entrances are small and the elevator is a little tucked away, but the room itself was comfortable, stylish, spacious, and well equipped. It’s a great hotel right in the center of Basel.

Very clean and tidy, with a cosy, welcoming feel. The wine bar is lovely and the service there was great. All the staff were really friendly.

A great location and a nice atmosphere, with simple rooms. Highly recommended if you’re after an experience rather than luxury.
