After six weeks travelling around Europe with my husband, in tour groups and on our own, this is easily the best hotel we've stayed in. The rooms were newly renovated and super clean. The space, shower pressure and temperature, fridge, and air-conditioning were all way above what most other three-star hotels in Europe offer. Staff were so polite and went out of their way to help, even when I asked for an iron to do a few things myself instead of paying for laundry. It's very close to the city center, with a local co-op supermarket across the road that has everything like Woolworth or Coles back in Australia. Amazing, and we'd happily recommend it and stay again.

The view when you open the room window is lovely, with the mountains, castle, and historic part of the city. This is a historic building with a great history and strong hotel traditions, and the team is extraordinary, super kind and friendly. The place has a unique atmosphere that helped us forget today's stress and chaos. It's quiet, has good energy, and puts you in a good mood. Breakfast is tasty, and you can enjoy it in the lovely inner garden or the beautiful hall. You can reach the central square, the elevator to the castle, and the historic old town in just a few minutes. Bellinzona is a special city with peaceful energy, and this hotel helps you feel it. It feels like paradise here, I recommend staying!
