Lin and the front desk manager made us feel welcome when we came back later, and it was a pleasure dealing with them. Earlier, when we arrived around midday, the man at reception just said check-in was at 3 PM. He didn't check whether a room was ready or offer to hold our bags, so we had to ask. Breakfast the next morning was simple but more than enough, with crêpes, fruit, boiled and scrambled eggs, and more. The gluten-free bread was especially good, better than we usually find. We had a very pleasant stay.

The location was great, and our room was a good size, clean, and had a nice breakfast. But the air conditioning never cooled it below 23C. One receptionist said that was hotel policy, and a technician came to see if anything could be done. Someone else offered another room, though its AC was no better. A portable fan from another staff member helped us sleep. I appreciate the effort, but I still want a properly cool room, which is why I gave two stars.

The room was beautiful, one of the cleanest I've seen. They also provide complimentary coffee and water from the machine, made with alpine water. 😁

Everyone we dealt with was very polite and helpful, and they speak English, French, German and Spanish, so communication was easy. The hotel is beautifully kept, with a high standard throughout, and breakfast was excellent.
