The location is really good, with a supermarket across the street. Staff are kind, though most of the time nobody is at reception. Breakfast is basic but has what you need. Rooms are clean, but the furniture is old, there's no fridge or safe, heating could be stronger, and sound insulation is poor.

The room service was prompt, clean and well organized, and the staff were consistently polite and attentive to requests. Kalavathi deserves special thanks for her friendly nature and outstanding hospitality. Her warm, professional manner made my stay much more comfortable. Thanks for the dedication and great service. I'd highly recommend Hotel Dufour for a comfortable, pleasant stay. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I booked for the night at the last minute after a delay made me miss my train. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the station, right by the old town. Staff were kind, and the price was very friendly for Switzerland. Breakfast was included and mostly like a typical hostel breakfast. The room was quite big, nice and clean, and the beds were great and comfortable. Checkout at 12 gives you some options in the morning. It wasn't the quietest area, though: I woke to doors opening and closing on my floor, and church bells rang at some point.
