Alfa Hotel

The bed was fairly comfortable, the rooms stayed quiet, and breakfast was decent compared with hotels in the US. The tram 3 stop is right nearby, which made the location convenient. Rooms are fine for a short visit, though they aren't large: the bathroom is small, closet space is tight, and the table barely fits a phone and coffee maker. The square, fluffy pillows were the oddest part. If you prefer a firm pillow, you may be disappointed, and they don't give much support when used against your back in bed. We were satisfied with the stay overall.

Breakfast was very poor and had no variety. We had booked a Queen room, but the stay was terrible. It was 35 degrees outside, and there wasn't even ventilation available, let alone AC. The room smelled horrible, the furniture was old, and we couldn't sleep. To me, this hotel is worth two stars.

The bed was comfortable and there was a fan in the room, but the seat was broken. The bathroom was small and outdated. Parking was full, and people just had to hope they could fit. No one answered the door, so we waited for someone to come out before we could enter. With an unmanned reception, that setup makes no sense, and many people couldn't get into the hotel. The location and the experience weren't enjoyable.

Clean, and right across from the trolley, but still a mediocre hotel. The rooms were tiny, especially the bathroom, and there are no frills. The street is loud, so bring earplugs if your room faces it.
