Apartment Banfi

Claudia had plenty of ideas for outings around the region, and the neighbors were so welcoming and friendly. We spent a few lovely days there in July. The apartment is clean, furnished with care, and everything is simple and easy. And the lake view is fantastic.

Casa Banfi was a welcoming house with everything I needed, a real peaceful hideaway. Piodina is a quiet little village, just right for relaxing. I was there for the Piodina Film Festival, and my days were a mix of walks, time by the lake, and watching festival films. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a break from the bustle.

The cool, breezy setting in Piodina comes with breathtaking views of Lake Maggiore and the mountains, and hiking trails for all levels begin right at the house. My aunt loves the mountains and is happy to suggest excursions to suit what you’re looking for. There are also several traditional restaurants nearby, with local food, and you can reach them on foot or by car. Casa Banfi is a cozy apartment in this small mountain village above Brissago. It belongs to my aunt, who carefully preserved the house’s original charm during the renovation. It’s a lovely place for a quiet, restful holiday.

Claudia was incredibly kind and helpful, and we felt very comfortable at Casa Banfi. The little rustic house has a lot of charm, is clean, and is furnished very comfortably with everything you need. Its position by the lake is lovely. For a longer stay, a washing machine would be useful, though there’s a garage right next to the house. Highly recommended. ;)
