Parkhotel Brenscino Brissago

We especially appreciated how welcome our dog was: the hotel left a gift and treats for him, and even offered puppy-sitting, which was incredibly convenient. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a wonderful view. Staff were attentive and friendly, and we enjoyed the pool, restaurant, and kids’ corner. The only drawback was the small bathroom, particularly for a room meant for four. It didn’t spoil our stay, though more space there would make things more comfortable.

Waking up to that lake view was the best part of our stay at Hotel Brenscino Brissago. The hotel was clean and nicely decorated, with everything we needed, and the facilities were excellent, especially the pool. A lovely place to unwind and take in the scenery.

The room got unbearably hot and stuffy at night, like trying to sleep in a sauna while sweating. It seriously affected the quality of sleep, which is one of the most important things when staying at a hotel.

We were surprised by how warm and genuine the staff were, especially after two unpleasant, arrogant encounters at nearby restaurants. Everyone seemed to enjoy their work, and the friendliness didn’t feel put on. A friend had recommended the hotel, and we were delighted with the stay. The WhatsApp concierge worked perfectly and was a great idea. Breakfast was phenomenal, the botanical garden was stunning, the pool was lovely, and the view over Lage Maggiore was incredible. We don’t really see why it only has three stars, but that’s fine by us. The rooms are simply and functionally furnished. We’ll definitely be back, though I doubt this place will stay undiscovered for long. Keep it up!
