Breakfast in the garden, with silver spoons, was a lovely touch. This is a charming, family-run little hotel in the Lugano area, set in an old palace that's been nicely renovated. The high ceilings still have that old-world feel.

The town is beautiful, and I loved spending time in the garden and by the pool. The rooms feel a bit dated, but that didn't take away from a great stay, especially considering the price.
