The restaurant downstairs was a real highlight. Its home-style food felt authentic, warm and comforting, and both the dishes and atmosphere get 5/5 from me. The room was practical and comfortable. The bathroom was across the hall rather than in the room, but that wasn't inconvenient, and the other guests were friendly and respectful. The guesthouse sits in a quiet, charming forest setting, with snow and trees all around. It feels peaceful, cozy and welcoming. Getting here from Geneva by train was easy, with just two changes, and in Champéry the free local bus takes you almost to the door. From the stop it's about a three-minute walk. I came mainly to ski. There wasn't much snow during my visit, but access was still good. With better conditions, you can ski almost straight from the guesthouse to the Grand Paradis chairlift. From there, the skiing is excellent and links to an enormous area of about 600 km of slopes. It's great value compared with much more expensive resorts, while still offering quality and atmosphere. The location, food, welcoming hosts and cozy alpine feel make me keen to return. I'd absolutely stay here again and recommend it.

The host was amazing, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made me feel at home right away. They use fresh ingredients sourced locally, and you can taste the care in every dish. A lovely place for a meal or an overnight stay, with a great location. Definitely recommend it, a real hidden gem!

The peaceful location comes with lovely views, and the hosts are great. Kelly is an amazing chef. Inside, this Swiss chalet is beautifully decorated and furnished, with wood-clad rooms that feel very cozy.

We got there 15 minutes before the winter season officially opened, and the staff hurried over to let us in. They were friendly, and the cook talked us through the new menu while bringing fresh vegetable soup from their garden and all the drinks we wanted. Great place!

The garden and its views are the kind you can get lost in, and the beer selection and superb menu are lovely too. The owners are welcoming, and the hotel makes a great first impression as soon as you arrive. The rooms have beautiful views and the Swiss chalet feel I was hoping for. The slopes are right there for skiing, and town is a short walk away. Highly recommend it. My family and I will be coming back.
