We stayed for five days and got exactly the kind of trip we wanted. The spa was fantastic, and the views were breathtaking. The hotel is centrally located in town, beautifully done, and the rooms are clean and nicely designed. Every staff member we met was polite, charming, helpful, and incredible. It’s an absolute diamond of a find, and we’ll 100% be back for our next ski trip.

December brought snow the day after we arrived, and the views turned into a magical, movie-like wonderland. You can see the Swiss Alps from the breakfast area, pool, and our balcony. Such a big wow, and a dream holiday. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was high quality, and we had a good pot of tea. The Coop is only a few minutes’ walk away. A big thank you to the very friendly, helpful team at Hotel National’s Resort and Spa. This was unforgettable, highly recommended!!!!!

The views here are absolutely stunning. We spent four days and three nights at Hotel National in Champery, and it felt like a luxurious getaway from home. The whole team was welcoming and super professional. It really has the feel of a 5-star luxury hotel, and we genuinely enjoyed our stay.

We were travelling with our dog, and she was made just as welcome as we were. They even had a ball for her, and we paid 20 CHF for her. The staff were lovely and welcoming during our one-night stay. The only rather bad thing I’d mention is the coffee at the bar.

We paid quite a lot for a spa day as outside guests, hoping for a relaxing visit with my partner. The spa policy restricted access to adults, but once we arrived we found hotel guests could bring children, who ran around, jumped, and splashed in the jacuzzi. We politely asked staff to ask the other guests to keep the noise down, but nothing was done. At reception, when we raised it as we left, staff gave a slight apology and said it was normal for hotel guests to bring kids into the spa during school holidays. Being told that’s just how it is after paying for access didn’t feel professional. We left disappointed with the service, especially for a place with such a high rating.
