Just right for what you need. The place was clean, the staff friendly, and they were very helpful with finding activities and suggesting hikes and ways to get around. Breakfast was great too.

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel, its atmosphere and the staff. It's lovely, very clean and tidy, and our room had enough space for our family of four. The restaurant is cozy and the food was delicious. Breakfast was included. It wasn't a huge spread, but it was enough to keep us going on the ski slopes for a few hours. The kids enjoyed the pool and the other activities at the hotel. The location was my favorite part: just a two-minute walk from the ski lift, with superb pistes. We skied all day in both Switzerland and France. After skiing, we had time for a short rest before dinner at the wonderful restaurant. The main street, with restaurants, shops and bars for every taste, is only a four-to-five-minute walk away. There's a locker room for ski gear, and parking is free. We had a really good stay. Thank you, Champery, and thanks to the nice hotel staff. Manuel the waiter was lovely and gave five-star service.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, but checkout turned into a frustrating issue. Reception called while we were up the gondola and asked us to return our passes. When we got back, we handed them to a woman at reception. The next day an email claimed we owed 90 CHF for the passes and for tourist tax that supposedly hadn't been paid at check-in. We did return the passes. We also shouldn't have to pay tourist tax afterward when it should have been charged with the room at check-in. That's not our fault. And I'm not sending them my bank details.

The restaurant food was outstanding, and Manuel's service made us feel at home. Our room had enough space for two adults and two teenagers, and the location was ideal, about a five-minute walk from the cable car. The children also had fun in the indoor pool, playing darts and using the pool table.
