The dining room ceiling is stunning, carved from incredibly beautiful wood and originally from a typical town hall. This is a family-run home in a former hotel, where the hostess takes real pleasure in welcoming guests. She raised a large family, and now that most of her children have left home, she’s nearly alone in the big house and offers accommodation. It’s at the foot of the Col des Mosses pass, a few minutes from the village center and 10 minutes from the pass. Château-d'Oex, in the Gruyère region, is less than 20 minutes away.
