ABC Swiss Quality Hotel

Our only real gripe was the pillows, which felt too soft and flat. Otherwise, the breakfast spread was thorough, though gluten-free choices were limited, and the rooms were practical with roomy bathrooms and plenty of toiletries. It’s a handy base for Chur: Bahnhofplatz bus station is right beside it, and the train station is just a 3-minute walk away for the Bernina Express.

Sitting at the top of the mountain with a drink and something to eat in the winter sunshine was exactly what we needed. The hotel gave us discount cards for local transport and attractions, and the cable car was a ten-minute walk away. The main station was only i minutes on foot. Our room was spacious and spotless, the staff were great, and breakfast was first class. Everything about the stay felt perfect.

Anna at reception was wonderful and gave us useful recommendations. Everyone we met around the hotel was friendly and helpful. The clean, spacious room had lovely hill views, and breakfast was good quality, with attentive staff and a generous 6.30-10am serving window. The hotel is ideally placed for both the station and the town centre. We’d definitely recommend it.

We loved the huge windows in our Supreme Deluxe King Room, which opened onto beautiful views of the city and surrounding mountains. The hotel is across the street from the train and bus station, with shops and restaurants close by. Our room and bathroom were spacious, modern, quiet, and very clean; the rain shower was especially nice. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and we’d happily return to Chur and stay at ABC Hotel again.
