ibis Geneve Aeroport

The room was pretty standard for an airport hotel, and the beds felt a bit firm. Reception was friendly. Breakfast tasted good, though the selection wasn't huge, with enough to get through the day. It's handy to stay here if you need to be near the airport or trains. The free shuttle runs in the morning or evening, takes about 5 minutes, and has friendly drivers. At arrivals, follow the signs, cross a couple of roads, and look for the other hotel shuttles waiting together. There's a yellow rectangle marked "hotel" on the road. I only took a picture of the hotel-to-airport times, but you can use it to estimate all the times.

We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and the staff were very helpful. Before our international flight, it was lovely to relax in the lounge while we waited for the airport shuttle. The beds were super comfy, and the free luggage storage on departure day was much appreciated. A few extra bathroom items, like shampoo or body lotion, and maybe a kettle with tea or coffee in the room would have made the stay even better. We had a great experience and would happily come back.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was nice, and the location was ideal. The room was spotless, so no complaints about cleanliness. For one or two nights this is a great place, but for a longer stay I'd prefer another hotel. The room has limited facilities, though maybe that's what you get for the price. We stayed three nights at Ibis for a Christmas trip to Geneva. The twin room setup was frustrating: a thin mattress sat on top of a thicker one, they weren't strapped together, and they slipped off the bed frame easily. The air felt stuffy and affected me a little, though being able to open the window all the way helped; without that, it would have been quite a struggle.

They were thoughtful about our baby, messaging ahead to ask his age so they could set up the right bed. Our son enjoyed the play area beside the lobby. There were pizzas and other food for sale onsite at a reasonable price, and we could also walk to restaurants, cheaper mall food, and an Aldi. The airport shuttle runs every twenty minutes. They also sent us a prepaid travel QR code for public transport across Geneva Zone 10, valid from the day we arrived through the day after departure. We could store our bags onsite if we arrived early, but they checked whether the room was ready and let us in at 10:30 even though check-in is at 3. Our room had no microwave or fridge, at least ours didn't, but there was plenty of room for the baby bed as well as a desk and chair. Everything felt clean. This hotel was such a blessing to us!
